We are getting into the festive spirit a little early in Owls because we have our big Christmas performance on our minds. Rehearsals are going well and the children are being very patient with each other as they try to remember where to be at the right time and what to say!
If your child has lines to learn for the play they really need to know them by the end of next week. Please could you recite them as often as possible at home as this will really increase the children’s confidence when it comes to performance night.
We have already received lots of wonderful costumes so a big thank you from us! If you are struggling with finding one, just let us know as we already have a number of spares from generous parents.

This week we are sending home Maths Passport Target Books for children to work on at home, this is not obligatory homework but really helps children to increase their confidence and ability in mental maths. Your child’s individual targets will be stuck into the front of their book to remind them what they are working towards.
Please pop in and let us know if you feel your child has worked particularly hard towards their target and that they may be close to being signed off , we will then make sure we celebrate their efforts in school.
Thank you for your continued support,
A Smith & F Radway
