This week we have been learning how to program the Bee-Bots. We have to remember to clear his memory every time because he doesn’t forget anything he has been told otherwise!
Here we are programming and using the Bee-Bots for the first time.
We had a great day at Stratford Park. We had the opportunity to try some different skills.
We had a gymnastics session…
Did some bouncing on the trampoline…
Squashed the strawberries…
Had a Cheerleading session…
Enjoyed a picnic outside…
Made pictures from the things we could find around us…
and generally had a fantastic time!
Today at Forest School some of us we have been using the secateurs for the next part of our project. Have you guessed what we are doing yet?
Some of us were diving, jumping in and swimming in a pool!
We also had a band playing…
and there was lots of climbing and exploring too.
This week we have been learning how to skip. This is one of the events at our Mini Olympics so it was good to have a go to see how we got on. There are a lot of things to think about especially trying to turn the rope and jump at the same time!
Today we have been busy building towers. We managed to balance on the top of the tower. There were people on every floor of the tower.
We also did lots of pavement art. We drew flowers, a train with a track and Poppy even drew the school!
Some of us had a go at writing and drawing on the white boards outside and some of the boys played swing ball.
We love this nice weather so that we can take our learning outside!
We had great fun on the Adventure Playground. Learning how to climb the wall, swing from the monkey bars and balance on the bridge.
Today we have been learning how to throw the javelins. Some of us could throw them a really long way. We had a really good technique.
