Pets de Nonne

Today we made Pets de Nonne, a sweet pastry treat that the children in Canada love to eat. We had to roll pastry, brush it with butter, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on it and then roll it up and cut it into pieces. We put them on the baking tray so that they looked like spirals. We cooked them in the oven and then left them to cool. We are going to take them home to share with our families. Sometimes they are called ‘Nun’s Farts’! We thought this was really funny…
